The manager of Lahore Airport says that tall buildings and colonies around the airport are dangerous for aircraft.

Lahore Airport Manager Akhtar Mirza has informed the Civil Aviation Authority in writing and also sent separate letters to the Commissioner Lahore and DG LDA.

Lahore Airport Manager Akhtar Mirza said in his letter that illegal constructions around the takeoff and approach area could lead to an accident at any time.

He said the Civil Aviation Authority did not have the authority to take action against illegal constructions.
Airport Manager Lahore said that illegal constructions have been carried out in an area of ​​15 km around the airport.

The Lahore Airport Manager has also demanded to take notice against the Building Control Authority.
